The Alpine Coaster drops 234 feet over almost half a mile and is a great family activity, with little ones able to ride with adults. The coaster runs throughout the year, but be prepared to bundle up if doing it during the winter. While they occasionally allow walk-ins,reservations are highly recommended during the high season, as they are often sold out. The Mountain Coaster is part of the Leavenworth Adventure Park, where you will also find a rock climbing wall and the chance to sluice for metals just like in the old mining days, although these are only open during the warmer months.
