This street end was completed in 2015 by the Department of Transportation's Shoreline Street Ends Program with assistance from the community. In addition to providing access the Salmon Bay, this park contains boulders, native vegetation and logs which double as seating. This work on reconstructing the shoreline provides additional benefits as it filters out runoff coming from nearby streets.
