The first half of 2022 had me skiing familiar lines around Snoqualmie Pass like Silver Twins, Lundin and Chair Peak, with a first time visit to the Basin Lake Chutes near Crystal. I continued to explore urban hikes around Seattle, and got in a couple of family hikes. I didn't make it out for any fun spring ski objectives this year, as finishing our house at Lake Chelan and preparing for the move there consumed a lot of weekends. A visit to Park City, Utah to house / dog sit for my parents allowed for some fun hikes in the area. Late summer and fall were spent exploring the Chelan area, and after a 20 plus year hiatus I started mountain biking again, hitting up the beginner friendly trails around Echo Ridge. Winter came in with a bang, and I got my first taste of ski touring around Lake Chelan in December.
